About the Team 

The Success Plans Experiences team owns the user experience which consists of a complex React web application. Our mission is to provide fast, reliable communication tools for buyers and sellers alike and to collect and analyze the data rich insights created by those interactions. This team has exciting challenges in store. Success plans are a newer part of the Outreach platform and therefore we have the opportunity to learn from our early customers and shape this into a product that becomes the standard for B2B transactions. In addition we are tasked with integrating this product thoughtfully into the rest of the Outreach platform. We’ll do this while adopting Outreach and industry best practices to ensure our software is truly enterprise grade. 


Role 

We are looking for an experienced front-end / UX Software Engineer who is interested in becoming a key player on a highly collaborative, productive and fun team, working on bringing a newer product offering at Outreach from 1 to 100.


Location

This role is Hybrid (remote/office) and located in Seattle, WA

Your Daily Adventures Will Include

  • Working in a modern user experience stack. We build our product in typescript, modern React, material-ui and GraphQL. We have dedicated teams working to improve the developer experience and develop in-house tooling to make great products for our customers
  • Being an active participant in code reviews and architectural discussions
  • Helping us build customer trust by keeping the quality bar high and delivering well tested code
  • Collaborating closely with other engineers, product managers and designers to deliver the best user experience
  • Owning features all the way through
  • Taking part in an agile development process
  • Mentoring and providing support/guidance for other team members
  • Partnering closely with our partner service/api team to deliver game changing features
  • Keeping up-to-date with new developments in TypeScript, React and front-end tooling to improve team practices and overall engineering rigor and quality

Our Vision of You

  • Experience building complex web applications with React and JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks such as React, Svelte, Vue, or Angular
  • 3+ years of software engineering experience preferred
  • Experience in developing a complex application with performance in mind
  • Strong problem solving, design, coding and debugging skills
  • Experience building and consuming web based APIs
  • Great communications skills and ability to give and receive honest feedback
  • Track record of continual learning and improvement for you and the people around you
