Our customers will be able to communicate effortlessly with Getty Images, in their quest to find the right imagery. Using text, voice, or visual channels, they will have the ability to describe their content needs creatively and thoroughly. Getty Images' search will eliminate the barrier that exists between a creative art director and a technical researcher.
Who You Are:
You have a passion for service design. You are an avid technologist who is fascinated with web services, dev ops and cloud computing. You enjoy the challenge of balancing customer needs, business value, and technical solutions. You flourish in a team environment, collaborating with other engineers and product development to understand business problems and drive technology solutions.
Your Next challenge:
The PE is responsible for the runtime engineering characteristics of the application as a platform for the delivery of business value. This would include, but is not limited to, the latency, scalability, and availability of the application.
- PE’s help management hold teams accountable for the impact of feature work on an application’s operational characteristics. They are also a general resource for insight into how to efficiently develop additional features in a particular application's context.
- PEs contribute directly to application code, either production or experimental code.
- PE’s are assigned primary responsibility for one or more business applications. They assist teams that are delivering features in the context of an application in their portfolio.
What you’ll need:
- BS Degree in Computer Science, hard science, or relevant experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience with .Net and C#. Will also consider experience in other languages
- Comfortable in a highly collaborative agile working environment
- A hunger to improve and grow as an engineer
