What you get to do in this role:

• Solve real world complex problems at scale on the ServiceNow platform
• Rapidly develop Security Operations applications, applying innovative technical solutions to eliminate manual processes and simplify workflows for complex procedures
• Build integrations with various 3^rd party security vendors, providing comprehensive automation and orchestration solutions
• Work closely with Product Managers and Architects to design state of the art solutions to Security Operations problems
• Be part of a world class engineering organization that takes pride in building extensible and resilient engineering solutions
• Work in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) based environment with bright and forward-thinking developers and quality engineers
• Work with Quality Engineering and Customer Support to troubleshoot problems encountered by customers and field sales

In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

• Over 10 years of experience designing and building scalable reusable products / components.
• Solid experience in application development building enterprise-grade applications in a high transaction environment.
• Strong understanding of Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Algorithms and Data Structures.
• Exceptional Java & JavaScript programming skills.
• Proficiency in web technologies like REST, SOAP, OAuth
• Experience designing & building scalable web services.
• Exceptional debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to effectively communicate complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical teams.
• Solid understanding and experience with agile software development lifecycle.
• Experience with open source technologies Linux, Apache/Tomcat, MySQL/Postgres
• Experience mentoring team members for development best practices.
• High energy and aptitude for learning new technologies.
• Passion for software development and problem-solving.
• Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of cloud technology and distributed computing
• Working knowledge of Linux Internals, MySQL Optimization and Performance Tuning
• Experience working with JavaScript libraries such as AngularJS, ReactJS, Backbone.js, Node.js, jQuery.
• Experience with git.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (like Python, Perl and bash)
