We are looking for an up-and-coming Software Development Engineer with the moxie and potential to help drive our API team’s success. The Tune API is part of the Tune Performance Marketing SaaS platform and powers the Marketing Partnership programs of our most significant customers, who make over a billion API calls per month!

The API team is responsible for multiple external APIs, the core Enterprise data model, and various asynchronous and scheduled jobs supporting critical business processes.

You will collaborate on an agile team to design and deliver solutions from start to finish. You will build solutions in Go, PHP, and Python, hosted in AWS using Docker and Kubernetes, and leveraging additional technologies such as MySQL, Kafka, Redis, and ElasticSearch. You will drink way too much nitro cold brew coffee. You will contribute to improving operational excellence in performance, security, and scalability.

You'll be responsible for...

• Designing, building, and supporting the Tune Performance Marketing SaaS platform.
• Writing clean code in a highly available, distributed environment.
• Collaborating with other teams on cross-functional projects.
• Finding the best tool for the job by leveraging the knowledge you already have or learning something new.
• Having fun with your team.

What you'll need...

• Ability to work within a team to drive a project to completion using strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to make pragmatic decisions quickly and support consensus within a project team.
• Ability to deliver high quality features to production.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent.
• Understanding of HTTP and how the web works.
• Understanding of database design with both relational and key/value stores.
• Interest in modern and RESTful API design principles.
