Job Overview:

As a senior software engineer for storage services, you will be responsible to develop platform components and tools for storage services with OSS solutions like Cassandra, HBase, Elasticsearch and support smooth operations of the storage platforms, automate devops tasks.
We are building platform components and tools for storage service with OSS solutions. Do you love working with petabytes of data using big data technologies? Do you possess deep expertise in designing and building the Big Data systems of tomorrow? Key Responsibilities:
• You will architect and drive the build out of Coupang’s next generation data platform.
• You will build durable code, with the ability to scale with very large data volumes.
• You are expected to become an expert and know the in-and-outs about one or more distributed storage solutions.
• Operate and Develop new features on our current NoSQL/storage services in AWS to provide a company level service.
• Keep improving our platform stability and performance and achieve zero downtime and smooth operations.

Qualifications:
• BS or advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
• 2+ years of software development/engineering experience
• Experience in designing, building and maintaining large-scale data infrastructures
• Experience in Java, distributed systems, micro services
• A strong team player; Ability to quickly triage and troubleshoot complex problems
• Strong AWS Cloud Background on both development and operation.
• Strong CI/CD experiences and be able to understand and implement the automatic deployment.
