Software Development Engineer II - Customer Success

About the Role:
The Customer Success Technology (CST) team oversees the customer support experience. We allow our global operations to support our customers' experience to get the help they need, when they need it. As a member of the CST team, you would be directly responsible for the customer and agent experience, as well as our customer's access to our agents.
You will report to the engineering manager of CST in the Seattle office. As a software engineer at Remitly you will build solutions to complex technical and customer problems. You will also work on integrations with vendors, such as chat bots, self help providers, and service cloud providers like Salesforce.
You Will:
- You will work directly with customer success associates to understand and help solve challenging problems
- You will develop tooling and frameworks in a scalable cloud-based architecture deployed to AWS
- You will use technologies such as Kotlin, PHP, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, GraphQL, docker, and kubernetes to provide excellent tools to our operations teams and customers
You Have:
- 2+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience using frontend like Angular and ReactJS
- Experience using Unix environments
- Experience shipping and operating production features and systems
- Experience as a member of an engineering team, including agile practices
- Experience with multiple programming languages, and use of algorithms, data structures, and software design
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
