Upbound is headquartered in Seattle and is hiring for roles on open source projects and commercial hosted offerings.

In this role, you can expect to be:

• Designing and implementing automation frameworks and suites
• Driving automation efforts including CI/CD, end-to-end, and performance testing
• Educating team members on automation frameworks and principles
• Evaluating automation strategies and identifying areas of improvement
• Defining and communicating automation metrics 

You are a good fit if:

• You love to automate everything.
• You build automation frameworks that developers love.
• You’re data-driven and can communicate effectively with dashboards.
• You have a track record of designing and implementing automation frameworks.
• You’re experienced with Kubernetes and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• You’re experienced with CI/CD systems like Jenkins, CircleCI, and GitLab.
• You’re experienced with QA automation frameworks like Selenium and WebDriver.
• You’re experienced with chaos engineering and fuzz testing principles.
• You are able to balance trade-offs in both design and implementation.
• You appreciate the complexity of arriving at something simple.
• You are effective in working independently.
• You are effective at communicating and socializing your ideas.
• You have 5+ years of related industry experience.

• You have worked in a startup before.
