Our Opportunity:

Chewy is hiring a Full Stack Senior Software Engineer, for our Supply Chain Tools & Analytics team. This will be the first Software Engineering role on a growing team that’s working to build new tools from the ground up. As a result, there is the opportunity for professional growth, creativity, and the ability to help define projects from the very beginning. We’re looking to build tools that will help our rapidly growing organization work faster and smarter.

What you'll do:

Be the technical leader for a newly formed team of engineers
Contribute to every aspect of new products’ development
Help create and test early-stage software that can then be developed into robust and scalable products
Think creatively to solve problems that don’t have existing solutions
Bring industry best practices in terms of technology, process, and design

What you'll need:

10-12 years of experience as software engineer
5+ years of experience designing and developing scalable, high performing and fault-tolerant applications for large enterprises.
3+ years of experience architecting frontend systems
Experience evaluating, measuring, and tuning application performance
Experience with distributed SCM (GitHub a plus), DevOps, AWS
3 + years API development or engineering at scale
Experience working across fully automated stacks in a CI/CD ecosystem
Knowledge of Content Management Systems
Experience in Test Driven Development
Agile experience is a plus
BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience
Position may require travel
