A position for a Software Test Engineer is now open for a highly motivated and talented individual. You will interface with internal Unity teams and our customers. You will help Unity platform programmers to ensure functionality, stability, and usability of Unity as a primary tool.

You are either an aspiring technical engineer with Unity experience and a keen eye for details and willing to learn the craft of test engineering, or you are an experienced test engineer working on platforms related software.

In this position you will report to your QA Lead.

Responsibilities

• The overall goal is to provide feedback about the state of The Product in order to support development and inform development decisions
• Provide feedback on the usability of the platform pipeline of new features. 
• Work closely with developers to provide early feedback to new features and functionality
• Develop and maintain the test approach for your designated areas of the product
• Work with customers to reproduce their bug reports in-house
• Communicate with users on our community forum, providing assistance and advice
• Collaborate with other testers and developers in an agile environment
• Contribute to the continued professional growth of the team

Requirements

• Experience working with, or extensive knowledge about platforms (desktop / mobile / console)
• Extensive experience with Unity
• Experience with C# language
• Work experience as QA Engineer
• Prior experience in Game Development
• Strong motivation, high level of commitment, proactive and positive attitude
• Great problem solving skills and detail-oriented approach
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Bonus Points

• Experience with mobile or console platforms
• Experience with Modeling software
• Programming experience with other scripting/programming languages
