Due to COVID-19, Knock is currently operating as a remote company and all interviews will be conducted over phone or Zoom video calls. We plan to return to an office setting eventually, but that timeline has yet to be determined. When we do re-open our office, we will do so in a manner that is safe and comfortable for our employees and partners. We will continue to be remote-friendly for most employees and have opened up most of our positions to be either Seattle-based, hybrid office/work from home, or completely remote. The Role

Knock is the leader in Sales, Marketing, and CRM technology for the property management industry. Our CRM and leasing tools are the center of how customers operate their portfolios, creating an opportunity to create a growing ecosystem of integration partners that improve product experience, sales outcomes, retention, and a number growth objectives. 


The Solutions Architect (SA) at Knock is a critical member of the Services team. You will be working closely with new and existing Knock clients to enable their success and gain commitment to expand Knock’s presence within their company. As a Solutions Architect you will be the lead technical, business process, and change management specialist for clients onboarding to Knock.


As a Solutions Architect you are a natural self-starter and passionate about delivering positive and sustained outcomes for your clients. The ideal candidate for this role is a multifamily expert with experience in Operations, Marketing or Technology that will leverage their experience to proactively advise and guide clients to implement Knock and get buy-in from all levels of the client organization to ensure deep adoption.

1. Generating pipeline for new, quality sales opportunities

2. Land new customers

3. Expand business within our existing customers

4. Retain 100% of our customers

Day to Day

  • Through successful onboarding and adoption, gain commitment to expand Knock’s presence within a company by advising and guiding customers to implement business processes that accommodate the implementation of our product.
  • Obsessively monitor risk and implement plans to address risk immediately.
  • Be responsible for your customers reaching a Knock utilization target
  • Be the subject matter expert of all features and best practices in Knock, you have a PhD in the Knock product and multifamily industry.
  • Consistently deliver value to new customers by thinking 3 steps ahead and creatively solving problems.
  • Work collaboratively with members of the Services team to deliver projects on time
  • Lead clients through software implementation by defining new workflows, conducting personalized training, and ensuring their usage of Knock best practices
  • Take ownership of troubleshooting efforts with customers during onboarding
  • Create distinct guides and documentation to facilitate a client’s workflow within Knock
  • Be accountable for client outcomes - monitor Knock adoption, usage habits, vendor integration success, and product configurations

Basic Qualifications

  • Multifamily experience in Technology, Marketing or Operations and successfully managing clients of all sizes
  • Strong communication, presentation, leadership, and relational skills, capable of synthesizing complex information to stakeholders of various technical backgrounds
  • Executive presence and confidence in communicating with business, technical, and C-level stakeholders
  • Capable of simultaneously leading multiple projects over several months
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation
  • Self-motivated and comfortable owning onboarding target metrics
  • Ability to work and stay connected with various internal and external cross-functional teams
  • Up to 50% travel to customer on-site locations for kickoff and discovery meetings

  • Nice to haves

  • Understanding and/or hands-on experience with HTML, APIs, and SQL querying
  • 3+ years of leading SaaS onboarding projects for enterprise clients is preferred
