Position Summary


The Retail Operations team is looking for a talented Solutions Engineer to join and help us grow our ever-growing list of Retail partners. This role will be remote, require some travel, and should be willing to work primarily PST hours.


You are an Solutions Engineer who comfortably bridges mobile, advertising, and retail technology for Enterprise, has extensive experience enabling and working with Retail customers of all sizes, and relishes the opportunity to work for one of the fastest-growing retail technology startups today. This role requires a motivated self-starter with a strong technical acumen.


Responsibilities Include

· Hands-on evolution of Swiftly mobile and web solutions with our top Retail partners.

· You will be technical champion of the Swiftly Retail Platform from initial discovery through solution launch, and ongoing (Retailer) evolution against new Swiftly capabilities.

· Actively lead Retail partner feasibility/scoping sessions and technical evaluations based on your deep knowledge of Swiftly’s platform

· Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including time and scope involved.

· Regularly engage with our Product and Engineering teams to provide feedback and identify opportunities and trends to further improve the Retail Platform.

· Champion the Retail Partner (technical) relationship end to end, including at the executive sponsor level, and internally with our TPM and Engagement Manager teams.

· Write technical answers to questions and manage collection of information for RFIs and RFPs.

· Help build best-in-class Sales Enablement practices, with a focus on scalability. As an early member of our team, you’ll play a key role in shaping the Solutions Engineering infrastructure that will power our hypergrowth trajectory.

· Become an expert in leading detailed demonstrations across Swiftly full product suite, working closely with our Product teams to drive constant improvements to our demo capabilities.

· Channel Partner enablement and support


Required Experience

· Minimum 8 years experience as a Solutions Engineer, Solutions Consultant or Technical Sales engineer

· Enterprise client experience, including Pre-Sales and Delivery

· Enterprise selling experience including enablement, solution integration and general sales support

· Experience interfacing with clients daily at all levels of an Enterprise org: IT/Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Product, Customer Experience, CXO/Exec level

· Strong communication and presentation skills; including Visio or equivalent to communicate complex enterprise integrations

· Experience working with Retail clients to evangelize, architect and deliver enterprise grade solutions comprising of mobile applications, mobile SDK’s and REST API’s, web modules.

· Hands on technical experience: i.e. - ability to write code in applications such as Postman to integrate with Swiftly web API’s and develop sample code in popular programming languages

· Product experience: act as a funnel for and definition of solution product requirements for the Swiftly Product team

· Independent, a self-starter with the ability to work successfully in a high-energy startup.

· B.S. degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent


Preferred Experience

· Consulting / Professional Services background

· Extensive experience with North American Retailers

· Extensive post-sales account management and engagement a plus
