We're looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer with a demonstrated ability to identify high-value targets for process and automation, work with developers to operate and monitor large-scale services with complex distributed systems and data integrations, and drive success through measurement. You thrive on distilling ambiguity with other senior engineers and approach software engineering as a craft; not just a job. 

 

Swiftly has offices in Seattle, WA and Bay Area, CA Remote opportunities are possible for exceptional candidates 


Position Requirements 

-5+ years of industry experience automating, operating, and monitoring large-scale software services across multiple data centers


-Confidence with scripting (shell, Python) and deployment pipelines 


-Experience automating, operating, and monitoring services running on Kubernetes clusters 


-B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or a related field or comparable industry experience 


-Authorization to work in the United States (unfortunately, we are unable to provide immigration support at this time)


Ideal Candidates 


-Mix of startup and large software company experience 


-Experience with Microsoft Azure 


-Previous work history with Azure DevOps 


-Located near Seattle, WA or Palo Alto, CA (or willingness to work within the United States with Pacific Time business hours)
