About the Role


We’re looking for a committed, dependable, self-driven, and unabashedly detail-obsessed Senior Quality Assurance Engineer. You will be part of our dynamic and growing QA team. As a Senior QA, you are responsible for performing and managing all testing activities for the content crews, plus additional duties for automation testing with a special focus on CRM integrations. The right candidate is technical, eager to learn about our product, and able to help us quickly get new features to market. 

What You'll Do

  • Execute manual and automation tests for both web and mobile applications
  • Participate in testing new features and integrations as an embedded QA of the feature crews for any CRM features
  • Write and maintain automation scripts in JavaScript to improve UI automation testing coverage, when appropriate
  • Contribute to our automation framework and our automation scripts database
  • Create generic test plan and quality documentation for all CRM integrations e.g. SFDC, Dynamics 
  • Work closely with our Services team members to find out use case scenarios for CRM applications
  • Share test automation knowledge with junior members of the QA team
  • Find and report defects in the Jira issue tracking system
  • Drive quality standards and constantly improve testing processes
  • Extensively test new features before release to ensure they meet Highspot’s high quality standards
  • Understand Highspot’s customers and be an advocate for their ideal experience

Your Background

  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies and Agile processes
  • Experience with industry-leading test automation tools such as Selenium, TestCafe, and WebDriver.io
  • Proficient in modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), fundamentals of database design and management, and REST APIs
  • Experience in Linux/Unix command line interface and Git
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills
  • An entrepreneurial spirit: agile, creative, resourceful, and tenacious in solving problems and achieving team and company goals
  • B.S. in Computer Science (or a related field), or equivalent work experience
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience testing SaaS software
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience creating and maintaining test automation suites
  • Required: 1+ years of experience in Salesforce testing or any related CRM application
  • Bonus skills: AWS, CI/CD tools, React, SQL

Our HQ is located within walking distance of Pike Place Market and the Seattle Piers. With amazing 360 views of the Puget Sound and Downtown Seattle. The only downside, there are almost too many places to pick for your lunch meetings.
