Sr. Software Engineer -  Front-end Developer

LiquidPlanner is building the next generation of project collaboration and prediction platforms, and we're looking for an excellent senior software engineer to join the core team in a front-end development role.  This role will have significant contribution and influence in designing and building the platform front-end, and lasting impact on its success in a new market category.

You'll work closely with Engineering and Product teams in the early stages of product development.  You'll design and build intelligent, integrated features and UX on the latest web app technologies, and delivering them continuously into our AWS operating environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop foundational front-end code for new product features and UX using ES6, ReactJS, Redux and Semantic-UI.
• Apply experience in design and interaction patterns to optimize the LiquidPlanner platform for customer and business contexts.
• Own core platform features from concept through implementation, delivery and sustainment.
• Support and guide teammates in development best-practices, and balancing technical, operational and business needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing and building large-scale customer-facing web applications.
• Extensive experience with ES6, ReactJS and Redux.  Solid competency in Redux patterns, normalized API's, SCSS/Flexbox, NodeJS and Babel.
• Experience translating product designs into technical specifications and requirements.
• Proficient with web application stacks running on AWS, and related development tools/infrastructure.
• Affinity for technical leadership and coaching in areas of expertise.
• Previous start-up experience a plus.
