In order to advance our mission to – “Enable Personalized Care for Every Cancer Patient,” we are seeking candidates for the following role:
Sr. Software Engineer - Micro-Services
The Job:
You will be part of a team of engineers building services from the ground up which deal directly with cancer patients. You will be involved in tech design, architecture and coding of core services required for us to deliver the world's best experience for oncology patients and clinicians. The role requires addressing the current challenges involving scale and security as we continue to grow. 
The Successful Candidate will:

  • Design and develop complex projects from ideation to release
  • Help set the direction for our services architecture
  • Adhere to and promote good coding standards aiming for readability, performance and maintainability (this includes documentation and unit testing)
  • Be part of a continuous improvement culture where we encourage improving, simplifying or streamlining processes and practices
  • Participate in our Scrum Agile process 

You have:

  • 5+ years of software development experience (ideally with experience in service architecture)
  • 2+ years of experience designing and implementing successful micro-services
  • Good knowledge of data modeling, software design, and algorithms.
  • RESTful API designs and implementations
  • 3+ years experience with both SQL and NoSql data stores.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience solving real-world problems with AWS or other cloud architectures.
  • Strong experience with source code management using GIT, various workflows, and popular branching models.
  • BA/BS in a Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent professional experience

Bonus experience:

  • Kubernetes experience
  • GraphQL experience
  • AWS Lambda experience
  • AWS Pinpoint experience
