In this role, you can expect to be:

• Designing and Implementing features for the Kubernetes project.
• Working closely with Kubernetes community, representing Upbound in special interest groups, conferences, and meetups.
• Working with other Upbound engineers and product managers on delivering a platform for multi-cloud services.
• Lead the full lifecycle of feature development from design through testing and release
• Building hardened implementations that are deployed at scale.
• Coding primarily in Golang.

• You are already an active contributor to the Kubernetes project.
• You've worked with technologies in the ”cloud native" stack including Kubernetes, Docker, Go.
• You’re an active speaker, blogger, and member of open source communities.
• You have worked in a startup before.
