We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to grow our product to the next level by helping us manage an ever growing engineering and delivery teams workload. You will be a core contributor to Algorithmia’s ability to push through its next phase of growth. We’ve already demonstrated that our product fits the market need, but there is stiff competition in the market. The Automation of deployment and delivery of the product to our customers, across any cloud provider and on-premises is our strategic advantage and directly impacts customer experience. We’ll need you to take ownership of program management with our engineering and delivery teams to make sure we hit our goals, create a magical customer experience, and position ourselves to succeed. You will experience unique visibility and growth opportunities that comes with joining the first AI startup funded by Google’s AI Fund.

What you'll do:

• Work with engineering and delivery teams to prioritize workload and manage resources to meet deadlines
• Help develop functional specifications and technical requirements to further delivery automation and customer delivery
• Implement appropriate software and service delivery life-cycle methodologies
• Ensure quality software and services are delivered on time
• Manage issues and risks in complex customer environments
• Report status of specific development deliverables back to leadership and stakeholders 
• Collect and publish metrics for engineering and delivery teams performance
• Produce release notes and manage internal and external communication regarding software releases
• Help create a positive, inclusive, results oriented culture

And we might make the perfect match if you:

• Have 3+ years experience in program management in a high tech company
• Have 3+ years experience in one or more of the following: Cloud infrastructure, large-scale distributed systems, service delivery, SaaS
• Get excited about customer experience and customer success
• Have a combination of experience with big and small company environments
• Familiarity with Agile development processes
• Have core project management skills – scheduling, prioritizing, managing dependant task relationships
• Have the ability to manage a team’s activities to a deliverable and a date 
• Are experienced with managing issues and risks with complexity and conflicting priorities
• Are experience managing scope – keep scope creep from happening
• Demonstrated the ability to manage multiple large scale projects
• Are very effective at clear written and verbal communication skills
• Can lead customer deployment meetings, manage expectations 
• Shown ability to identify, track and report key performance metrics
• Advanced degree preferred, but not required
