We are in search of an experienced Unity engineer to help design and build sample games and tutorials that showcase Unity’s new cloud technologies. These samples will introduce developers to our online services and demonstrate the best way to make modern, online experiences in a full-featured vertical slice.

Join a small multidisciplinary team focused on rapid development utilizing exciting technologies for matchmaking, game server hosting, live content updates, player challenges and more. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded engineer experienced in Unity game development, rapid prototyping, and collaborating with a team of artists, engineers, and producers.

Responsibilities

• Develop core gameplay systems for sample game vertical slices
• Integrate Connected Games and other bleeding-edge online service offerings
• Ensure that the projects structure, assets, and pipelines meet the high standards that an example project should demonstrate
• Be ready to roll up your sleeves and do anything within your power to ensure the samples are the highest quality possible

Requirements

• Built and released a complete game or experience using Unity
• Networking experience with multiplayer and/or services integrations
• Broad programming skillset areas such as UI, gameplay, AI, and basic graphics 
• Experience working on a multidisciplinary team
