The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer located in Tukwila, WA.
Objectives of the USAF E-7 program are to build and deliver two rapid prototype E-7 aircraft and associated Airborne Mission Segment and Mission Support Segment lab infrastructure include upgrade of major airborne and ground-based systems. The US-based team is managed by Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C), a unit of Boeing Mobility and Surveillance (M&S), the E-7 is the world's most advanced, capable and reliable command-and-control system. A unit of The Boeing Company, BDS is one of the world's largest defense, space and security businesses specializing in innovative and capabilities-driven customer solutions, and the world's largest and most versatile producer of military aircraft and commercial/civil/government space systems.
Position Responsibilities Include:

• Leading a variety of Systems Engineering work statement
• Model Based Systems Engineering
• Architecture Refinement
• Verification Planning and Execution
• System Performance Analysis

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the listed location.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
• 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering
• Experience as a Systems Engineer Lead, leading systems engineering, integration and test activities
• Experience preforming trade studies, modeling, simulation and other forms of analysis to predict component, interconnect and system performance

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Familiarity with Military Systems
• Experience working with multi-discipline engineering teams

Typical Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 7 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years' experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range: $128,350 - $173,650
