Join our team as a Web Development Engineer and you will help to drive a large-scale software development initiative in Stackline's retail analytics platform.

Responsibilities

The system is multilayered, contains front-end and back-end components. You will be mainly focused on building interactive, single-page application using various UI technologies and tools like JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, jQuery, as well as modern JavaScript frameworks and tools like Angular.js and React.js. You can expect to become a fully functioning member of our development team within a few short weeks along with owning new features of the product from start to finish.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 5+ years of professional development experience.
• Strong skills in React.js and data visualization libraries like d3 or Highcharts.
• Experience building performant UI/UX to visualize a lot of data.
• History of delivering high quality production systems/services.
• Familiar with AWS environment.

Preferred qualifications

• ‍Experience implementing intuitive user interfaces for complex tasks.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with users, technical teams, and management.
• Startup experience is a BIG PLUS.
• Interest to learn or existing experience with Big Data technologies is a PLUS.
• Experience designing with a strong emphasis on scalability and sustainability.
