FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.

JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX 13 Seattle is looking for a forward-thinking, bold Executive Producer of Streaming to take our streaming strategy to the next level. As a key leader, you’ll oversee a talented and expanding team dedicated to delivering the most engaging, innovative local news streaming experience in the Pacific Northwest.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead a Growing Team: Manage, mentor, and inspire a dynamic group of producers, hosts, and digital storytellers to create content that stands out in the streaming landscape.
• Shape the Strategy: Develop and execute a forward-looking streaming strategy for FOX Local, FAST channels, connected TV, mobile apps, and social platforms.
• Prioritize Innovation: Experiment with emerging formats, technology, and platforms to keep FOX 13 Seattle at the forefront of streaming news.
• Deliver for Audiences: Balance live programming, breaking news, and original features to meet the evolving needs of cord-cutters and cord-nevers.
• Analyze and Optimize: Use digital and audience metrics to drive smart programming decisions and grow viewership across all platforms.
• Raise the Bar: Collaborate with production and creative teams to deliver visually compelling, high-quality content that reflects FOX 13’s reputation as Seattle’s dominant local news brand.

What You’ll Need:

• Proven leadership experience in streaming, digital, or broadcast news with a strong track record of team management.
• Expertise in live streaming production and familiarity with evolving digital technologies.
• Exceptional news judgment with the ability to pivot quickly in breaking news situations.
• Strong understanding of social media, audience engagement, and analytics.
• A creative, experimental mindset with a drive to challenge traditional models of local news.
• Passion for storytelling and serving diverse communities in the Seattle area.
• Most importantly: You live and breathe streaming yourself. You’re a streamer, you consume content on connected platforms, and you instinctively understand what today’s streaming audiences want because you are one of them.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $100,000.00-115,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
