We are looking for an Accountant to join our rapidly growing team. As Accountant, you will be a key member of the Finance department, reporting directly to the accounting manager. On any given day, you might find yourself updating and reconciling balance sheets; maintaining fixed assets and fixed asset reporting; and entering routine accounting journal entries. In addition to being a strong Excel user, you have general ledger accounting experience, familiarity with internal controls, you are happy to respond to questions from managers and employees and are adept at identifying, analyzing, and solving problems. Responsibilities:

  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing. Assist with annual independent audit
  • Cash accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable and fixed assets
  • Monthly expense variance analysis and ad-hoc budget to actual analysis
  • Consolidation, inter-company transactions and reconciliations including foreign currency accounting
  • Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and compliance to internal policies
  • Balance sheet accounts reconciliations
  • Property, sales and use tax and franchise tax returns
  • Actively work with executives and management in various departments, including engineering, sales operations

What we expect from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 2+ years of accounting experience preferred
  • Public accounting (especially Big 4) experience preferred
  • Must be able to learn quickly and adapt as needed
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must be highly organized and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision
  • Prior experience providing a high-level of customer service through candidate interaction
  • A team-player attitude and ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout Company organization
