Blue Nile is looking for a passionate and talented Accounting Clerk to be a key contributor to our Finance organization. The position has an emphasis on Accounts Receivable duties including but not limited to daily high volume processing of cash receipts for domestic and international sales and reconciliation of the cash receipt sweep accounts. This position will also support other ad hoc projects and data processing. We’re looking for a candidate who is highly detail-oriented, has the ability to process large volumes of data, is a self-starter who possesses exceptional organization and communication skills, and has a passion for our business.

Responsibilities:
• Daily high volume processing and reconciliation of cash receipts for domestic and international sales.
• Reconciliation of cash receipt sweep accounts
• Review and data entry of daily customer refund activity
• Preparation of requested audit documentation and analyses to support the independent auditors’ annual audits
• Assist in reconciling, resolving and/or writing off outstanding aged accounts receivable balances
• Assist in supporting customer service requests including researching customer refunds and processing ad hoc credits
• Backup for processing electronic wires and payments

Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of cash posting/application and accounts receivable experience, preferred
• Associate Degree in Accounting or relevant coursework, preferred
Ability to multi-task and process high volumes of data within established time frame
• Ability to interact professionally across all departments and functionalities within the organization
• Ability to research and resolve complex payables issues
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Excel
• Knowledge of Oracle or similar ERP system preferred
