Why You Will Make an Impact:

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual, driven to produce quality work, and enthusiastic about continuous learning and improvement of processes within a fast-paced business environment. This position is an individual contributor role responsible for all aspects of the following key technical accounting areas: accounting for stock-based compensation, debt, equity, leases, intangible assets, and internally developed software. The Accounting Manager will actively engage and collaborate with the Accounting, Finance, and Legal Leadership.

A Look Inside the Role:

• Owns shareholder’s equity and stock-based compensation accounting. Partner closely with Legal and HR, communicate accounting treatment of stock compensation and equity transactions.
• Assess, develop, and implement a process for tracking and accounting for internally developed software. Perform accounting for debt, leases, and intangible assets in accordance with GAAP
• Perform monthly closing activities for including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations to maintain accounting records in accordance with US GAAP and company policies
• Assist with annual financial statement audit including preparation of supporting schedules and responding to auditor requests
• Assist in or lead other projects as requested

You Already Have These Qualifications and Love What You Do:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related fields
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably 2+ years in public accounting
• CPA or CPA candidate highly preferred
• Familiarity with GAAP and FASB codification, and ability to perform technical accounting research
• Proficiency in MS Excel, using advanced functions and Pivot Tables, QuickBooks, or other ERP system experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Self-starter who takes initiative, collaborates and demonstrates ownership and analytical aptitude Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
