Swiftly is a growing organization and is looking for an Accounting Manager to join the team to take on the challenge of managing a transitional step in our high growth organization. Swiftly is moving to an ERP (NetSuite), and we are looking for someone ready to take on the challenge of wholly managing this new system transition as well as their area to help shape the accounting function at a startup.
Responsibilities Include
· Manage accounting close calendar and ensure closing objectives are met
· Manage the General Ledger system, accounting operations, month-end and quarterly close
· Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements
· Overseas Accounts Payable
· Manage Treasury
· Organize monthly revenue share calculations
· Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
· Maintain fixed asset subledger
· Develop and implement policies and procedures with emphasis on internal controls
· Jump in on annual audit activities
· Support NetSuite implementation efforts
· Other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
· 5-7+ years’ experience in accounting operations required; CPA preferred
· Experience using NetSuite, ADP, Concur, and Coupa preferred
· Advanced Excel skills required
· Demonstrated ability to think strategically about the role of finance and accounting in supporting the company’s strategy
· Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX 404 compliance
· Solid experience helping to coordinate financial book closings, audits, and financial statement preparation
· Proven success working well under pressure, highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines
· Ability to work in an environment with continued process improvement and changes
