About the job:
As an Accounting Manager with Flyhomes, you and your team will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial information to management, business partners, and other stakeholders across the organization.This position is perfect for the management experienced accountant that is seeking the ability to self-manage, set priorities, with the flexibility and compensation that one would expect in a leadership position in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Roles & responsibilities:
- Review journal entries and account reconciliations as part of the month-end/year close process
- Management of P&L and balances
- Review of monthly and quarterly account analysis and fluctuation
- Assist with the annual external audit and quarterly reviews performed by our auditors including control walkthroughs and the preparation
- Manage and mentor team members
- Manage close checklist assignments, timing
- Drive process improvement projects to streamline and automate manual workflow
- Build operational and internal control processes for new and evolving aspects of the business
Job requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
- You have your CPA ( In process of obtaining is fine)
- 5+ years experience, public accounting experience preferred
- Experience in team management and career development
- Experience with accounting closing processes
- You possess excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
