We are looking for a highly motivated, results-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance organization.

The primary focus of this position is to complete payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. This position must have the ability to work both autonomously and in a team-oriented environment; where collaboration within the group is necessary to resolve complex problems.

Your Daily Adventures Will Include

  • Processing and coding vendor invoices, routing for approval and processing payment regularly within NetSuite
  • Manage credit card program with AMEX and Brex, including ensuring users are in compliance with Company policy and sending in monthly expenses timely for month end close
  • Assist with implementation of Concur for Travel and Expense and Invoicing
  • Maintain healthy AP aging and invoice queue and report on status of # of invoices processed, bills on hold and overall AP aging for month end close
  • Ensure timely payment of all invoices and check requests in accordance with vendor terms and payment schedule
  • Prepares weekly and ad hoc payment batches, wire transfers, and ACH payments
  • Research payment inquiries and provide detailed analysis regarding accounts payable
  • Pay employees by receiving and verifying expense reports
  • Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions
  • Continue to improve AP process and develop scalable processes

Basic Qualifications

  • 1-3 years’ experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in a high growth SaaS company
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related fields is preferred
  • Experience with NetSuite, Concur and a corporate credit card program
  • Understanding and knowledge of AP and purchase order procedures
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Desire to develop leadership and technical skills; pursue advancement opportunities within the Company
  • Strong attention to detail, goal-oriented 
  • Demonstrated capability to build strong working relationships with internal business units
  • Participation in process improvement initiatives and/or project management experience
