FLEXE is looking for a talented Accounts Receivable Analyst who will drive sound financial and accounting processes to support business growth. This position reports to the Revenue Accounting Manager and focuses on supporting FLEXE’s accounts receivable processes and procedures.


The FLEXE Accounting Team is looking for a reliable and detailed professional to help us maintain our receivables information. The Accounts Receivable Analyst will be responsible for entering accounts receivable information and for maintaining the accounts receivable aging. We are seeking an experienced candidate who can reach out to customers to ensure timely payments, manage incoming payments by tracking and entering them into our financial system to maintain accurate records, and who can work with our Sales team to resolve invoice disputes and outstanding receivables.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day, month-end, and quarter close processes including recording revenue, maintaining accounts receivable aging and analysis, bad debt allowance, journal entry preparation, and related reconciliations.
  • Manage collections including weekly aging preparation.
  • Partner with the Sales team to collect, to account for outstanding invoices, and to resolve invoice disputes.
  • Assist with posting cash receipts and reconciling cash payments in NetSuite and homegrown billing system.
  • Resolve payment discrepancies and follow-up with customers.
  • Evaluate credit worthiness of new and existing customers using Dun & Bradstreet.
  • Support annual external audit by compiling revenue and accounts receivable audit requests.
  • Evaluate opportunities to improve business processes and make recommendations; implement process improvements as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience with accounts receivable including billing, credit, and collections.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Knowledge of credit & collections process and experience with credit reports (i.e. Dun & Bradstreet).
  • Experience with Google Suite applications.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work in an agile, fast-paced, rapidly evolving startup environment.
  • Able to multitask and work collaboratively.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US. We will not be sponsoring visas for this role at this time.
