The Job:

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist that is ready to join our customer accounting team as a key contributor dedicated to providing our customers a world class experience. This is not your typical accounting position. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist with Tango Card, Inc. you will be exposed to a fast-paced, high-volume, customer service queue with the autonomy to resolve occurrences based on your determinations. Our services enable organizations to increase employee engagement and brand loyalty at tremendous scale – so if you are excited about working on a tech savvy, customer focused accounting team, we would love to hear from you!

This position reports to our Accounts Receivable Manager Karen Williams.

As an Accounts receivable Specialist at Tango Card, here are some of the things you may have recently worked on:

• Generated invoices and ensured accurate billing
• Supplied financial documents to onboarding customers
• Registered and managed customer payment portals
• Managed customer accounting queue ensuring timely and professional resolutions
• Worked cross-functionally with internal teams to implement automation and efficiencies
• Initiated funding events via ACH draw or credit card processing
• Ensured internal SLA’s are met while providing an excellent customer experience
• Processed customer refunds
• Ensured accounting entries are accurate
• Completed Ad hoc and special request passed down by AR Manager

To be a successful AR Specialist at Tango Card, the following skills and experience is expected:

• 2+ years of experience in accounting with a focus in Accounts Receivable, high volume a plus
• Intermediate excel skills and the ability to pick up on other technical software programs
• Foundational knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Strong customer service and communications skills
• Be a quick learner with the ability to adapt to a changing environment. We are moving fast and growing every month

Our ideal candidate will also bring some of the following experience:

• Experience creating invoices while ensuring accurate billing of customers
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to take ownership of special projects or circumstances
• Ability to prioritize escalating and urgent customer needs
• Experience working cross-functionally with internal teams to provide a customer focused resolution
• Accounts Payable and Netsuite experience is a plus
