About the Role:

The Billing and Collections Specialist will be involved in all areas of the Accounts Receivable process. This ranges from assisting the sales team with billing questions to invoicing clients to following up with past due accounts. The ideal candidate will be customer focused, have good attention to detail and exceptional customer focus.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare invoices and revenue schedules relating to recently closed contracts
  • Work with salespeople to answer questions around billing and communicate any issues with their accounts
  • Respond to a variety of customer inquiries via both tickets and phone calls
  • Communicate remittance information to the cash application team
  • Manage collections efforts for past due invoices by making calls and sending notices
  • Pulling back-up documentation for 3rd party collection cases
  • Working with corporate teams and shared services to ensure clean master data
  • Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors
  • Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2+ year's previous experience in Customer Service
  • Proficiency with the MS Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily
  • Experience with Salesforce and Oracle systems a plus
  • Ability to work independently, under tight deadlines at times, and in an ever changing/dynamic environment
