The Role
We're searching for a skilled Cash Operations Specialist to join Remitly’s Finance/Treasury team, reporting to our Global Cash Manager. This position plays a critical role in meeting our customer promise while safeguarding customer and corporate assets. The ideal candidate will possess the skills and experience needed to significantly contribute and support all cash management functions, including the cash operations and bank administration as we scale.
You’ll accomplish this by partnering closely with the Treasury team and key business stakeholders to understand the flow of funds. Your critical work will directly impact how efficiently and effectively we manage cash.
What You’ll Do
Cash Operations
- Prepare and analyze daily cash pooling and cash position to determine funding and borrowing decisions
- Initiate daily wire payments, account transfers, execute the LOC draw and repayment schedule
- Monitor incoming and outgoing cash flows and ensure they settle as expected
- Manage daily cash report and forecasts incorporating expected inflow and outflows
- Ensure all daily cash operations activity is recorded in system and/or tracked
- Tracking of wire settlement times and wire and lifting fees
Cash and Bank Account Management
- Bank account administration - create and maintain wire templates, manage bank account and user forms
- Bank account user administration - track and maintain all bank account user access, permissions and limits. Create an onboarding and offboarding process
Who You Are
- Familiar with funds flow, wire payments, banking software and the banking industry is preferred
- Strong alignment to our mission and values
- High degree of accuracy, integrity and organizational skills in all areas of work and ability to plan and manage routine daily tasks
- Self-starter, self-confident, highly dependable and communicative
- An individual who performs well under time constraints
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related field
