Corporate Development @ Convoy is a fast-paced environment where you will be challenged everyday to help drive and accelerate decision-making around key strategic initiatives. As a member of the Corporate Development team, you will be responsible for supporting Convoy’s global business development and transaction execution, evaluating a wide-range of business opportunities, including: M&A, investments, joint ventures, and other strategic options. Ideal candidates are eager to get their foot in the door at a fast-paced, rapidly growing startup and are excited about taking a high ownership role in a rapidly evolving organization.

You will have ownership of:

• Assessing the viability of M&A, investments, new business opportunities, and joint ventures. 
• Evaluating potential inbound M&A opportunities against existing strategic priorities, and socializing opportunities internally as appropriate.
• Leading the development of complex operating models and financial / valuation analysis to inform acquisition and investment decisions.
• Managing business and financial due diligence process for contemplated transactions by coordinating cross-functional.
• Researching and analyzing competitive and industry trends to develop views and provide recommendations on strategic decisions.
• Leading integration efforts by partnering with key business unit stakeholders in business planning and deal transition.

You will have the following skills and experience:

• 2-4 years of experience at an investment bank, consulting firm, private equity firm, venture capital firm, or corporate development group.
• Strong analytical skills, fluency in performing financial, valuation and broad quantitative analyses and familiarity with accounting & key operational metrics.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Comfortable performing in a fast paced, dynamic environment, managing both internal and external constituencies and works effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly and succinctly articulate complex problems and solutions/recommendations.
• Team player, proactive and action oriented, with the ability to anticipate needs.
• Strong personal integrity, work ethic and attention to detail.
