The team:

The Supply Chain Finance team is responsible for the accurate and timely accounting for all purchases and sales of inventory (ie: digital and physical gift cards) at Tango Card. We work in tandem with the Supply Chain operations team to manage and reconcile inventories with a strong focus on minimizing loss and mitigating risk, while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction. The Supply Chain Finance team works closely with vendors to maintain accurate cash balances in more than 60 prepaid accounts around the world. We take pride in the quality of our work and the integrity of our financial information.

This role reports to our Senior Finance Manager Dustin Nelson.

As a Supply Chain Cost Accountant at Tango Card, you will:

  • Assist the Senior Cost Accountant with the process of bringing a high volume of daily transactions into our ERP system, from our production environment
  • Support the reconciliation process (both interim and end of month) for all inventory and restricted cash accounts on the balance sheet
  • Ensure partner/vendor records are accurately maintained and updated within NetSuite, communicating updates to other teams when appropriate
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of item records within our ERP system
  • Help identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies between internal systems and vendor reports, communicating with vendors when necessary
  • Improve efficiencies by documenting processes and suggesting procedural improvements

To be successful as our next Cost Accountant, you will need to bring the following experience:

  • 2-5 years of accounting experience
  • Experience working in NetSuite or similar ERP system
  • Must be comfortable working with very large data sets and have intermediate experience with pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other Excel functions
  • Strong ownership of duties and responsibilities

Our ideal Cost Accountant will also have some of the following skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Experience within the Tech, Supply Chain or Logistics industry
  • Exposure to multinational companies and foreign currencies
