Brief position description: 

As the Finance Manager, you will lead Finance support of the Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success organizations, including maintaining various operating models, providing overall budgeting and forecasting support, providing management reporting, and developing strategic planning processes.  

Your team will also be asked to provide analysis, oversight, and decision support as our company continues to transition to a SaaS-oriented business model.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as un-matched financial modeling skills.  You will be asked to build or improve existing driver-based models that will support decisions around Sales Forecasting, Demand Generation, and Capacity Planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 3 analysts to manage and develop the FP&A processes for the Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success organizations
  • Develop and distribute reports, driver-based models and key performance indicators to support the business
  • Provide support for cross-functional strategic initiatives and executive reviews as needed
  • Lead the creation of real-time dashboard reporting, customized for Executive Management to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Create Budget vs Actual reports and work with accounting teams to explain material differences to executives
  • Be a mentor and help grow other team members

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years’ progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis in a private or public company
  • Prior experience working with Sales, Marketing, or Customer Success teams in an Enterprise Software environment
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills
  • Prior management experience desired
  • Ability to work with large data sets from within Salesforce
  • Prior experience with Adaptive Insights, NetSuite, and Tableau preferred, but not required
  • Ability to take your work seriously without taking yourself seriously
  • Inherent sense of curiosity and steadfast focus on continuous improvement
