With that, Heptio is seeking a Finance Manager who will be responsible for advancing business efficiencies by providing consistent and accurate financial insights.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING…

• Design and lead budgeting and forecasting processes across the company
• This includes managing the annual planning process as well as doing monthly reviews of budget versus actual
• Ensure variance analysis is prepared and key findings and recommendations are communicated to leadership team
• Run long term planning to create a clear 3-5 year view of growth and hiring
• Proactively engage across the organization to identify and evaluate initiatives to drive growth and optimize profitability
• Create P&L’s for each business line and monitor the P&L’s to identify and drive efficiencies and gross profit improvements
• Collaborate with Product Management to analyze and review pricing for new product initiatives and to understand profitability by product
• Work closely with sales and marketing to understand and evaluate various marketing and revenue-related initiatives
• Lead the automation of forecasting and other processes for finance

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS…

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
• 8 plus years of FP&A experience
• Demonstrated critical thinking ability and strong financial acumen
• Experience with international subsidiaries and business partners Strong strategic planning experience, budget administration and financial forecasting, analysis, and reporting
• Strong interpersonal skills and the proven ability to provide leadership to a team and to work in a team environment
• Demonstrated capacity to think strategically with expertise in complex problem solving, decision making, and critical thinking skills
• Proven track record of process improvement
• The ability to balance a partnering approach with firm stance on ethics, compliance, GAAP, etc.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse personalities
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to convey technical financial information to non-financial people
