About the Role

As a Financial Analyst, you will report to the Senior Director of Finance. In this role, you will use your financial planning and modeling skills to both interpret past performance and shape plans for the future. You will drive forward budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for all parts of the balance sheet and income statement with a specific focus on cash flow and revenue. You will collaborate with other departments to refine, evaluate, and communicate key metrics on company performance. This a full-time/temporary role and employment will last through 4/30/2020

Your Priorities

  • Support company leaders in developing quarterly, annual, and long-range financial plans
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly variance analysis comparing actual results to budgets, forecasts, and historical trends 
  • Manage the company’s cash flow forecast and provide recommendations for cash flow improvement opportunities
  • Calculate commission amounts on a monthly basis
  • Support the creation and analysis of the quarterly board reporting package
  • Perform rigorous analysis of SAAS metrics across cohorts (ARR Growth, CAC, LTV)
  • Evaluate revenues and costs in payment processing business, including interchange rates
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process and tools to control data integrity
  • Work closely with key partners in the company to establish new processes and reporting standards
  • Model new project initiatives, business opportunities, and price structures in order to evaluate a project’s IRR, NPV, and SAAS metrics
  • Advise the management team on key financial and operational risks and opportunities
  • Perform sensitivity analysis on different scenarios and business outcomes
  • Support other ad hoc finance items and special projects

Your Qualifications

  • Desire to serve faith-based organizations
  • 2-4+ years of combined experience in financial reporting and financial analysis
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or other Business-related degree
  • MBA or other professional finance designation (CFA, CPA, CMA) is preferred 
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Keen understanding of the key drivers of business performance & associated KPIs
  • High proficiency in financial modeling, sensitivity analysis, and data visualization
  • Comfortable working in a constantly changing environment; able to deal with ambiguity
  • Experience with Salesforce, Tableau or related softwares is strongly preferred
  • Experience working in SaaS, payment processing, and/or startup environment is a plus
