About the Role:

*This fully remote role is open to candidates in most U.S. states. Working remotely from a primary residence outside the United States is currently not permitted.

The Financial Analyst will partner with business leaders across key functions to support the RealSelf business strategy.  This position will focus on planning, reporting, analysis, and decision support. 

About You:

• You enjoy partnering with other cross-functional teams (Customer Success, Marketing, Sales, Technology, G&A) to develop financial forecasts and insightful analysis
• You will support day-to-day Finance team activities including generating reports, ad-hoc analysis, and optimizing workflows
• You are adept at applying business judgement and financial insights to assist with decision-making related to new initiatives, products, and business opportunities
• You have proven experience tracking business performance against operating plans and prepare monthly, quarterly and year-to- date variance analysis for management and business leads / areas
• You have a personal interest and passion for business, systems and modeling
• You have excellent organizational and multitasking skills, which translates to ensuring business owners know their goals and how to hit them
• You have the ability to tailor messaging as required for audiences of varying levels of expertise. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning & Forecasting: You will participate in budgeting, forecasting, annual and long-range planning in support of key departments (e.g. Product & Engineering, Sales, and Marketing)
• Performance Management: You will provide accurate, timely, and actionable financial reporting and key business metrics to operating teams, gain key insights into spend trends with meaningful and actionable analyses
• Develop and improve upon recurring reporting processes and assist in KPI preparation and analysis
• Business Partnering: You will build strong relationships and collaborate with business leaders to become a trusted advisor who highlights risks, spots opportunities, builds simulations and sensitivity analysis

Required Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of finance, accounting, or other business analytical work experience
• Experience with supporting the budget and financial modelling process. 
• Excel experience
