About the Team

The Subsplash Finance team is a growing team focused on keeping the company running efficiently and effectively. About the Role

As the Financial Analyst, you will report to the Finance Manager. In this role, you will be an important player in Subsplash’s next stage of growth. You will use your financial planning, analysis, and modeling skills to both interpret past performance and shape plans for the future. You will support the team’s budgeting and forecasting efforts and will dive deep to help the Company level up its understanding of what drives key financial statement items. You will be responsible for weekly and monthly revenue reporting and will play a key role in monthly financial statement reporting (including variance analyses for income statement and balance sheet items) and other external reporting as needed. You will collaborate with other departments to refine and report on key company metrics and will perform ad hoc analyses that inform strategic business decisions, helping the company to thrive for years to come.

Your Priorities

• Prepare weekly and monthly reporting package, including revenue, headcount, cash, and other key metrics
• Calculate incentive compensation (commissions, sales bonuses) on a monthly basis and provide insights into how to streamline the process
• Conduct in-depth analysis of key income statement drivers/assumptions, particularly cost of goods sold (including interchange fees)
• Conduct analysis that informs quarterly, annual, and long-range financial plans
• Support the preparation of monthly financial statement variance analyses comparing actual results to budgets, forecasts, and historical trends 
• Support the creation and analysis of the quarterly board reporting package
• Help level-up Company’s insight into profitability at the product and client level
• Perform rigorous analysis of SAAS metrics across cohorts (ARR Growth, CAC, LTV)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement processes and tools to control data integrity
• Model new project initiatives, business opportunities, and price structures in order to evaluate a project’s financial impact
• Perform sensitivity analyses on different scenarios and business outcomes
• Support other ad hoc finance items and special projects

Qualifications

• High proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other Business-related degree
• 1-3 years of combined experience in financial reporting and financial analysis

• Comfortable working in a constantly changing environment; able to deal with ambiguity

Bonus Qualifications

• Desire to serve faith-based organizations
• Professional finance designation (CFA, CPA, CMA) is preferred 
• Experience with Salesforce, Netsuite, Tableau, and/or related softwares is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial accounting principles
• High proficiency in financial modeling, sensitivity analysis, and data visualization
• Experience working in SaaS, payment processing, and/or startup environment is a plus
