The Role

As a Finance Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for leading and delivering a variety of finance system projects within the Finance organization (e.g. Concur/RevPro/Netsuite implementations).As part of this role, the Finance Systems Analyst is expected to streamline, invent and simplify processes, continuously improve quality and make the business work more efficiently, while being able to communicate effectively, put the right people in the room and write concise and clear documents.

To be successful in this position, the candidate should have demonstrated experience in designing and implementing finance processes and systems. In addition, the candidate should possess a track record of being detail oriented with a demonstrated ability to self–motivate, be able to deliver results while dealing with ambiguity and be able to anticipate and manage change in a highly dynamic environment.

Your Daily Adventures

  • Manage the complete life cycle of finance system projects-ranging from enhancements, new application implementation, to custom development and integrations; all requiring coordination of internal and external cross-functional teams
  • Gather requirements, set up project plan, identify risks, resolve key project conflicts, and establish appropriate resolution paths
  • Manage multiple projects/enhancements at one time and prioritize as necessary
  • Organize support for various functional areas on the project, attend sub-team meetings, and organize ad hoc working groups
  • Must be able to establish strong relationships within Finance, Sales Ops, IT, and key business partners to ensure comprehensive and timely communication of projects to all relevant stakeholders
  • Act as a liaison among Accounting, Finance, Sales Ops, and IT teams ensuring there is alignment and all parties are contributing to the program objectives
  • Continuously evaluate and refine tools and processes to ensure they are efficient, high quality, and scalable
  • Challenge the status quo and foster shared understanding, transparency, mastery, autonomy, innovation, and continuous learning
  • Experience with translating accounting conclusions into operational processes
  • A demonstrated history of solving multiple and complex operation and accounting challenges

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years system analysis and system implementation experience
  • Substantial experience with enterprise applications (NetSuite, Zuora, Concur), and finance domain knowledge
  • Ability to work on a variety of projects related to procure-to-pay, fixed asset, order-to-cash, new product launchesExperience with SaaS platforms and third party payment system integrations
  • Experience designing & implementing ERP solutions (SAP, Oracle, Netsuite) - modules - AP, AR, GL, fixed assets, and cash management and procurement
  • Ability to quickly grasp and learn various revenue streams and related payout verticals
  • Capable and confident in analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make thoughtful, practical decisions
  • A team-oriented, collaborative attitude with the ability to foster cooperation among upper management, business stakeholders and third-party solution providers
  • Outstanding, proactive communication skills – written, verbal, presentations, and more
  • Strong delivery focus – able to deliver against timelines, budget and achieve results
  • Flexible, positive thinker that can find the way to get things done in a complex and fast moving environment
  • Ability to work with minimal supervisionResilience under pressure will be a distinct advantage in the role
