About the job:

Flyhomes is looking for a rockstar analyst! In this role you will underwrite investment opportunities financial feasibility based on an estimated cap-rate based on neighborhood quality, sales potential, resale appreciation and local “comps” to determine top homes to acquire; Forecast net operating income and expenses for single property as well as viability of fit into client’s investment needs.

Roles & responsibilities:

• Perform quantitative research on current market trends, including macroeconomic data that is impacting housing sector
• Prepare marketing materials for potential investors including historical performance summaries, financial models, and property tour decks
• Evaluate current financial statements and historical financial health of multi-tenant and shared ownership structures to ensure sound management and provide a long-term investment thesis

• Create valuation/acquisition investment models by channel to support firm invest decisions

• Launch strategies, test, and build reports for management on new customer acquisition, engagement, and retention
• Assess company’s operational support systems and provide written reports to help management improve scaling efficiencies

• Source, tour and analyze investment opportunities with company officials and clients to gain a more precise understanding of investment opportunities
• Interface with cross-functional teams including closing, operations, legal, finance, accounting, and external third party vendors

Job requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, data analytics or a related field. Master’s preferred
• Skilled in complex data & statistical analysis
• Strong quantitative background with experience in financial modeling
• Deep understanding of business theory & management
• Hyper focused on the customer experience
• Ability to take on multiple tasks at the same time
• Phenomenal communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong ability to build data-driven portfolios for clients
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and find the right path forward
• Exceptional time management, organization and prioritization skills
• Ability to analyze situations carefully and adopt effective courses of action
• Hands-on industry experience within a real estate, development, underwriting, valuation, asset management, investment/fund/portfolio management, financial services, investment banking, consulting, and/or public accounting environment preferred
