Expedia has an exciting opportunity for an outstanding Transfer Pricing Manager to join our diverse Transfer Pricing Team! If you are looking for an opportunity to make a real impact to Expedia Group's business this may be the right time for you to take on a new challenge!

The Manager, Transfer Pricing & Controversy will work closely with Expedia's Tax groups, as well as finance, accounting and legal departments. Additionally, you will partner with business line professionals on intercompany transfer pricing planning, documentation and audit defense projects. In this role, you will support baseline compliance, audit, and project support across multiple business lines. You will also provide controversy support within Latin America, and global support for our corporate travel brand.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Draft and deliver US, OECD and/or foreign jurisdiction transfer pricing planning and documentation analyses related to transfers of intangibles and controlled services transactions
  • Perform financial statement analysis and build financial models for valuations, quantitative and competitive analysis
  • Participate in functional and risk interviews and takes full and detailed interview notes
  • Identification and assessment of intercompany cross-border transactions
  • Draft/review intercompany agreements that support transfer pricing transactions
  • Assist in applying transfer pricing in the context of ASC 740
  • Monitor transfer pricing regulations, cases in litigation and other relevant tax laws
  • Improve governance and controls over transfer pricing and manage related risks

 

Who You Are

  • BA or BS in Finance, Economics, Business with Accounting background/knowledge; advanced degree preferred
  • Prior transfer pricing experience in public accounting, equivalent consulting or proven experience
  • General knowledge of U.S. GAAP, international tax
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and overall abilities to meet project deadlines with a focus on details
  • Strong research, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented individual who takes ownerships of projects
  • Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced, team-oriented, rapidly-changing, and high-growth organization and handle multiple projects simultaneously
