As the Revenue Technology Specialist,

  • Sales Engagement brings systems, process and the science of customer acquisition to the art of selling, making it easier, more efficient and hyper focused on reaching the customers and prospects at the right time, through the right method with the right message. The Revenue Technology Specialist reports directly to the Manager of Revenue Technology Enablement.
  • You are an agile, self-starting, problem solver with superb communication & analytical thinking skills. You will be accountable for the day to day administration of software tools used by our Sales team. You should be able to handle multiple concurrent projects and manage timeline expectations with project stakeholders. You are above all else a team player who is willing to jump in and help with our rapidly evolving priorities.
  • You want to become an expert in the sales technology space.
  • You are hungry and tenacious to be continually learning and evolving, taking on more responsibilities as ready, and further integrate yourself and your expanding skill-sets into the Apptio organization.
  • No software development or engineering experience is required, but you are capable or interested in learning to troubleshoot technology issues that arise in our sales systems
  • You are responsible for supporting the sales engagement strategy. Working with our global team members across the Sales, Account Management, Enablement, Marketing and Sales Operations teams, you will support projects to improve how sales reps work, optimize processes and measure efficiency of our initiatives.
  • The ideal candidate has experience with SaaS-based Sales and Marketing acceleration technology, and experience working directly with Sales reps in the software industry.
  • You have intermediate experience with functions and formatting in Smartsheet, Excel or Google Sheets. In this role you will use spreadsheets to create forms, surveys, project plans, and schedules.
  • You have strong writing skills, PowerPoint formatting & design capabilities. You have excellent attention to detail and a fine eye for quality and brevity when communicating via email or virtually. Across all projects, this role will be responsible for writing & designing internal communications, including emails, PowerPoints for meetings & meeting recaps.
  • You take initiative, take smart risks, and not discouraged by failure.

What we want you to do: 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Software license management for internally-facing sales/marketing applications
  • Support Vendor management and vendor relationships of different software applications
  • Provide training and support to sales reps related to the sales technology applications
  • Support the team with virtual meeting software (Zoom/Webex) to record and manage attendee interactivity including polling, chat, and annotation, and audio/video setup.
  • Use video editing and sharing tools to edit call recordings, post online and share to our sales teams.
  • Use intermediate to advanced spreadsheet features to create and manage forms, data, metrics and projects for the sales team.
  • Schedule and send invitations for live and virtual meetings and trainings using virtual meeting software and a shared Outlook calendar.
  • Support internal sales events with mobile-application support, and on-site event support.

 Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree; Business, Marketing, Computer Science
  • The ability to troubleshoot technical issues (no software development or engineering experience required)
  • 1+ years in a SaaS company or similar
  • 1+ years related data analysis and reporting
  • Experience supporting cross-functional team projects
  • Exceptionally clear communicator
  • Ability to work well under pressure, highly adaptable, and well organized
  • Get it done attitude with a strong sense of team spirit
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience working in Salesforce
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting in tools like Excel, Tableau, etc.
  • Experience in SaaS companies working in a Sales/Marketing capacity
  • Experience in Sales Operations, Sales Development, Sales Enablement
  • Experience working with sales reps
  • Familiarity with sales software such as Salesforce, Marketo, Tableau, Allego, Brainshark, Outreach, Highspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Seismic Technologies, SalesLoft, etc.
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams
