Unity’s Accounting team is looking to hire a Senior Accountant that will be an integral part of our growing team. This role will have an immediate impact to our month-end close process as well as strengthening our overall reconciliation process. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical and able to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
- Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliation schedules to support monthly close package
- Work with cross-functional teams to make Unity’s close procedures more accurate, efficient, and faster
- Assist with financial statement preparation, flux analysis and monthly reporting
- Develop and implement process improvements and document standard operating procedures
- Support external / internal audit requirements related to specific areas of responsibility
- Support management by completing special projects, ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests, and other tasks
- Provide best-in-class customer service to internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong team player that is willing to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong background in US GAAP
- Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
- Superb communication skills, both written and oral
- Proven track record in both public and private sectors (technology / gaming industry experience preferred)

- Ability to work with team members spread across multiple offices.
- Experience with mid-tier ERP software (Netsuite and/or Workday preferred)
