Role Description

As a senior analyst on the Engineering and Products FP&A team, you will provide financial leadership to Dropbox Infrastructure team and guide them toward achieving the operational and financial objectives. This highly-engaging role offers significant responsibility for you to handle large expense areas that includes capex, opex and headcount - driving the planning, forecasting, budget tracking and insightful reporting. Responsibilities

  • Finance business partner to the Infrastructure and R&D teams
  • Lead monthly forecasts and analyze key financial and business performance indicators to provide cohesive financial picture and narratives
  • Develop insightful reporting and perform variance analysis
  • Deliver monthly accruals of infrastructure and enhance the accrual processes around these high-dollar and complex spend areas (AWS, data center, network)
  • Own Infrastructure capital expenditure model. Collaborate with Capacity Management and Supply Chain on long-range plan, order tracking and delivery.
  • Collaborate with the rest of FP&A and the CFO Org on process improvements and efficiencies related to close, reporting, and other recurring tasks

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related fields such as FP&A, Accounting or similar financial or analytical role
  • Experience in business partnering - a track record of managing an end-to-end budget from planning, forecasting, month end close, variance analysis to management reporting
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proven excellence in business analytics and tools. Advanced Excel skills essential; systems experience with tools including Oracle and Google Workspace highly desirable
  • Knowledge of Software or SaaS industry preferred
  • Experience managing capital budget and infrastructure preferred
