The Job:

Reports to: Sr Director, Finance

Tango Card is on the lookout for a Senior Financial analyst to join our growing Seattle based team. In this role, you’ll play a big part in telling the story of our financials internally and externally to help our leadership and stakeholders determine our next great initiative. As a Senior Financial Analyst at Tango Card, you will:

  • Oversee the creation and management of our yearly budget and rolling 3-year plan across multiple subsidiaries and currencies – includes collaboration with all department-leads to capture all costs, needs and realistic top-line expectations
  • Maintain monthly actual to budget/forecast reporting, while highlighting areas of positive and negative variance and how they can impact the future of Tango Card's initiatives
  • Perform monthly Management Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) on financial results to tell the story of Tango Card’s financial numbers and key metrics
  • Produce monthly (and as needed) analysis for investors and our Board of Directors, highlighting key financial and operational trends
  • Help develop and track rolling Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to show where we were, where we are, and where we will be
  • Coordinate with our Reporting team to develop internally available financial dashboards and reports for improved visibility and transparency for TangoCardians (our team) on company performance
  • Provide in-depth analysis of historical financial trends to the leadership team to help highlight areas of risk and future exposure
  • Produce weekly financial flashes to provide real-time visibility into performance
  • Work with the Sales Operations and Business Development teams to develop and refine our customer level volume and revenue forecasting process
  • Prepare and review customer activity and profitability reports and resolve irregularities
  • Fully understand and evaluate revenue trends to help the company focus on the biggest drivers toward top-line growth
  • Participate in special projects with our Financial Leadership team

As a Senior Financial Analyst at Tango Card, you will have most of the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field OR equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis and modeling
  • Mastery of Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills – the ability to share key takeaways of our financial results to an audience
  • Fine eye for detail and ability quickly identify trends in data
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in NetSuite a plus
  • Experience with multiple subsidiaries and currencies a plus
