The Finance Team includes Business Partnership Finance, Accounting, Finance Operations, Financial Systems, Internal Audit, Tax, Treasury, and Investor Relations teams. Together, the team partners with leadership to provide insights, information, and guidance to make strategic and operational decisions, inform investors about our business model and progress, and ensure the company is financially healthy and consistently meeting our reporting obligations.
We’re looking for a Sr. Manager, Finance to join the Finance & Accounting Team!
What you'll do:
Lead cross-functional projects with Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Operations, and Product teams
Play a key role in providing valuable insights that can translate into product and business recommendations
Collaborate with our Operations, Finance and Accounting teams to help develop strategies, build insightful forecasting and reporting and drive impactful insights for key leaders.
Lead and develop a team of analysts to support Snap’s rapid growth domestically and internationally.
Partner with our operations teams to enhance reporting, manage expenses, provide insights and develop and deliver key business metrics within the Operations team.
Build financial models to optimize investments
Develop and streamline FP&A processes to mitigate risk and find value within the business
Develop analysis/tools to track business results for Operations and better understand key drivers
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Experience within a publicly traded company leading corporate FP&A is highly preferred
Experience in tech or digital media industries
Experience partnering with senior executives on their financial planning and forecasting
Proven track record to thrive in a multifaceted environment under short timelines and changing priorities
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and establish strong relationships
Expert-level financial modeling skills, with experience building and operating financial planning tools (Hyperion, Anaplan, etc)
Solid understanding of GAAP accounting, enabling an ability to understand and forecast intricacies within the income statement
Expertise with Microsoft Excel/Powerpoint and Google Docs/Sheets (SQL experience preferred)
Track record of motivating and managing a hardworking group of ambitious professionals and taking interest in individuals’ career development paths
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience
8+ years of relevant professional experience
3+ years of experience managing people and leading a team
Preferred qualifications:
MBA or other Master’s degree

The standard base salary range for this position is $175,000-$250,000
This position is eligible for a discretionary performance-based cash bonus
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs
For CA based applicants:
The standard base salary range for this position is $165,000-$240,000
This position is eligible for a discretionary performance-based bonus
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs
For WA based applicants:
The standard base salary range for this position is $165,000-$240,000
