Your role and impact
98point6 is looking for a Senior Revenue Accountant with a track record of successfully developing and scaling revenue operations in a subscription environment. You will be responsible for the accounting and reporting of top-line metrics, including GAAP revenue, CMRR and membership. Partnering with our commercial and legal teams, you will create an efficient order to cash function that is ready for growth.
Responsibilities
- Own the Intacct contracts module, including revenue recognition, billing and ARR reporting
- Lead audit fieldwork related to revenue recognition
- Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure accuracy of top-line metrics and forecast
- Analyze and identify challenges and opportunities within the current process and make recommendations to address them
- Ensure efficiency of order to cash process from contracting to collections
- Assist in month-end close and general accounting work, as needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years accounting experience
- CPA preferred
- Public accounting and/or high-growth company experience preferred
- Deep understanding of both GAAP revenue recognition and SaaS metrics
- Familiarity with contracting, invoicing and AR workflows
