The Senior Manager will build out the Finance Department and drive Stackline’s quarterly financial forecasts, annual budgeting, and long-term planning processes. The Senior Manager will also be partner with various teams to build financial models around complex business initiatives. The ideal candidate will provide financial consulting and support to business partners and budget owners throughout the company, continuously enhancing reporting and metrics to drive improved decision making and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop key financial processes including the annual budget, long-term planning, and quarterly forecasting.
  • Refine tools, processes, and KPIs to aid business leaders in making assumptions for modeling.
  • Create actionable reporting on key operating and financial metrics for business owners to consult during decision-making processes.
  • Create financial modeling and cost/benefit analysis for new strategic business initiatives.
  • Maintain rolling forecasting models to provide real-time insight for consolidated operating results participating in setting guidance and other financial targets.
  • Establish a culture of continuous improvement to successfully attract future team members to the Finance department. 

Qualifications

  • An appreciation of Stackline’s culture with the ability to adapt and integrate.
  • MBA is strongly preferred.
  • At least 7 years of experience within a top technology and/or ecommerce company handling the full P&L.
  • High proficiency in Excel and either Alteryx, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI. SQL experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills and strong executive presence.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute on multiple competing projects.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with different personality types at all levels of management.
  • Ability to successfully work cross functionally with different departments.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and dynamic environment.
  • Must be a team player who is energetic, committed, and competitive with a positive attitude.
  • Experience with Software as a Service required.
