Sr Director, Head of Investor Relations and Treasury - Location Flexible
Role Description
Dropbox is looking for a Sr Director, Head of Investor Relations and Treasury. As the leader of the Investor Relations function, you will play a critical role in driving investor and research analyst engagement and shaping the investor messaging and financial narrative for Dropbox. You will build, maintain and expand relationships with a broad investor base that includes top mutual and hedge funds as well as sell side research analysts covering the company. As the leader of the Treasury function, you will be driving capital structure optimization and capital allocation strategies. You will build, maintain and expand relationships with banking and capital markets counterparts and monitor capital markets for opportunities to strengthen Dropbox's balance sheet and find optimal cash management and allocation opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as an integral part of setting and communicating the investor narrative for the company
- Act as the spokesperson for Dropbox in day-to-day engagement with the investor and analyst communities
- Distill and communicate feedback and viewpoints from the investor community to company leadership and Board
- Craft key talking points for all investor communications, including press releases, earnings call scripts, Q&A, Investor Day events, investor conferences, and one-on-one meetings
- Organize and manage events on company IR calendar, including Investor Day, investor conferences, and one-on-one meetings
- Collaborate with other teams - including Product, Marketing, Communications, PR, Legal, Business Development and Corporate Finance - to align investor communications with broader company strategy
- Advise management on optimal capital structure and capital allocation strategies, including playing a crucial role in helping to design and implement Dropbox’s share repurchase program and evaluating related financing options
- Provide analytical rigor to forecast and optimize capital utilization and cash management in accordance with the company investment policy
- Drive risk management and insurance strategies
- Own banking and capital markets relationships and activity
Qualifications & Desired Experience
- 12+ years of experience including sell side equity research or investor relations at a public company in the technology sector; treasury or similar experience is a plus
- Superior communication skills, both written and oral, with the presence and confidence to interact with senior executives and investors and represent Dropbox at investor conferences
- Strong financial and business acumen, including a firm grasp of financial metrics and modeling
- Highly entrepreneurial, collaborative and strategic with strong technical and interpersonal skills combined with the desire to work closely with various teams across the company
