Auth0 is looking for a Staff Accountant, GL to perform a wide range of compensation related accounting responsibilities and support our continued growth. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, can thrive in a fast-paced environment and has the ability to complete complex tasks with limited supervision.

Job Location:

We are REMOTE FRIENDLY, but occasional work in our Bellevue, WA office is expected.

What You Will Do:

• Prepare and record domestic payroll entries.
• Work closely with the Payroll Team to understand the global payroll process, obtain supporting documentation, research compensation issues and provide analysis to facilitate resolution.
• Responsible for timely and accurate preparation of monthly sales commissions accruals, deferrals and amortization in accordance with Company policy.
• Work closely with Commissions Analysts to ensure accuracy of sales commissions reports.
• Maintain supporting documentation and waterfall schedules.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Support month-end close and internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Assist with special projects as needed.

What You Bring:

• 3+ years of progressive General Ledger financial accounting experience in a large corporate environment.
• Experience working with monthly sales commissions accruals, deferrals and amortization.
• Experience with Netsuite, CallidusCloud and Salesforce.com preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.
• A CPA is preferred
